Community Guidelines

PokerInk brings together poker players to track hands, share analysis, and improve their game. We want this to be a place where every player - beginner or veteran - feels welcome and safe.

These Community Guidelines apply to all content and conduct on PokerInk, including hand histories, comments, messages, profile information, and any other user-generated material.

The following are strictly prohibited on PokerInk. Violations will result in content removal and account action up to permanent ban.

General prohibitions

• Harassment or bullying: Targeting, intimidating, or repeatedly attacking another user, including in direct messages or on shared hands.
• Hate speech: Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Sexual or explicit content: Pornographic material or sexually explicit content of any kind.
• Violence or threats: Content that glorifies violence or issues credible threats of harm against any person or group.
• Self-harm content: Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide.
• Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors is absolutely prohibited. See the dedicated Child Safety section below.
• Spam and scams: Unsolicited promotional messages, phishing attempts, fake accounts, or any deceptive scheme intended to defraud other users.

Poker-specific prohibitions

• Cheating, collusion, or solicitation of real-money cheating: Sharing real-time hole-card information during live play, arranging to collude with other players at the same table, or using PokerInk to coordinate or solicit real-money cheating of any kind.
• Ghosting: Coaching or providing strategic advice to an active player during a live hand without their opponent's knowledge.
• Bot use: Using automated software, scripts, or AI agents to play poker on your behalf in real-money or tournament games, or to generate deceptive content on PokerInk.

Any user who encounters content that sexually exploits or endangers a child must report it immediately:

• Use the in-app Reportaction on any hand, comment, or profile and select the "Child safety" category.
• Email safety@pokerink.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report".

PokerInk will remove the content immediately upon identification, permanently ban the responsible account, and report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, Cybertip.ca (Canada), and to relevant law-enforcement authorities as required by the laws of Canada or any other applicable jurisdiction.

When a violation is detected - through automated systems, user reports, or PokerInk review - we may take one or more of the following actions based on the severity and context. We aim to review reports of objectionable content and take appropriate action within 24 hours:

• Content removal: The offending content is removed from the platform.
• Warning: The account receives a formal notice that their conduct violated these guidelines.
• Temporary suspension: The account is restricted from posting or messaging for a defined period.
• Permanent ban: The account is permanently removed from the platform. Serious violations - including CSAE, real-money cheating solicitation, and credible threats of violence - result in an immediate permanent ban with no warning.
• Legal reporting: Where required by law or where content presents a serious risk of harm, PokerInk will report content and account information to the appropriate authorities.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing safety@pokerink.com with the subject line "Enforcement Appeal" and a description of the situation. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Appeals related to permanent bans for CSAE violations are not accepted.

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. Your reports help keep PokerInk safe for everyone.

• In-app Report: Tap the "Report" action on any hand, comment, message, or profile. Choose the category that best describes the violation and submit.
• Email: Contact our safety team at safety@pokerink.com.

PokerInk reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently remove any account that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Moderation decisions for severe violations (including CSAE and real-money cheating) are final and not subject to appeal.
